Say hello to Anil Taliyakula, one of the Principal Mining Engineers driving the work we do at Techtonic.

Over two decades in the industry have taken Anil from drill and blast benches through to management-level planning across gold, nickel, lithium, iron ore and bauxite operations — South32, BHP Nickel West, FMG and Core Lithium among them. That range means there are not many problems on a mine plan he has not seen a version of before.

What sets him apart is how he works. Anil is the person who would rather rebuild a clunky workflow than live with it, automating the repetitive design grind so that engineers can spend their time on the decisions that actually move the numbers.

It is a practical instinct, and it is one that tends to outlast the individual project it was built for.
