The role
A full-time hybrid role based in Perth, with exposure to both site-based and Perth-based work. You will be involved in short-term mine planning, design, and drill and blast, working across our client operations.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 3+ years experience
- Proficiency in open pit mine planning (daily and weekly), design, and drill and blast
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating mining processes and solving complex problems
- Experience in bulk commodity and hard rock mining
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
- Minimum intermediate level with Vulcan
- Commitment to safety procedures and sustainable mining practices
- Current Australian working rights
Highly regarded
- Proficiency in Deswik CAD, and Alastri ATS/APS and/or Deswik Sched
- Quarry Manager’s Certificate of Competency, or completion of the practical component
